The only hiccup I encountered was the flue kit sections lengths. After putting it all together I found it was 1.5” short to obtaining the required 12” minimum distance from the outside house wall to flue cap discharge (turned down at 45 degrees) with the 2” space between flue pipe and combustibles (1/2” sheet rock) on interior wall. The tee with ash clean out, 3’ of pipe and the 90 elbow are located inside the house. It never specified if the 12” measurement is to the edge or the center of the flue cap discharge. If it’s the center it would have met the required minimal distance but I was able to find a longer 4” Duravent section locally. I highly recommend getting the kit. My temperature readings on and around the flue pipe are well below what I had anticipated. Plus the wall thimble is a MUST.

- As it turns out, I did not require the Duravent 3 inch Pellet Stove Piping Kit. I used the piping that was already through the wall from the previous pellet stove (a Vogelzang from a previous owner; we never trusted the Vogelzang - it finally coaded out and became too unsafe to operate). So, now we have the piping kit as a backup. No problem.
